Jem is a dancer, choreographer and visual artist who worked with Northern Ballet on a series of workshops and two performances for the BEYOND Festival in 2018.

Jem is also filmed for Expressions at Northern Ballet in July 2022.

During lockdown, Jem taught herself animation and started a Happy Mail project making and sharing art. Firstly to reach those on their own and then for anyone to cheer them up. 

Jem mixes animation and traditional film creatively and imaginatively. 

She was part of Tetley’s Associate Artist Programme in 2022 and had a public screening of her work. 

One of Jem’s films ‘Lights, Camera, Action’ was selected for the Oska Bright Film Festival. 

Jem is currently focusing on developing her film making.
